Privacy Policy for Unit Converter India

Unit Converter India does not collect any personal data. It has no internet access, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. Everything you type stays on your device.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app does not gather, transmit, sell or share any personal information, and it does not ask for any permission that could be used to do so. It requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or identifier access of any kind.

No internet access

The app does not declare the Android INTERNET permission. Android therefore prevents it from making any network connection at all — not to us, and not to anyone else. Every conversion is calculated on your device.

What is stored on your device

So that the app reopens where you left it, it saves a small settings file in its own private storage:

• your number grouping and precision preferences;
• the conversion pairs you have starred as favourites;
• the last pair of units you used in each category.

This file never leaves your device, is not readable by other apps, and is removed when you uninstall the app. Clearing the app's storage in Android Settings also erases it.

The app also switches off Android's automatic backup, so these settings are not copied to Google Drive and are not carried across in a device-to-device transfer. Nothing the app stores is uploaded anywhere, by us or by Android.

Third-party services

The app contains no third-party SDKs that collect data — no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising libraries, no social logins. It is built with Google's own Android and Jetpack libraries, which do not transmit anything on the app's behalf.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Since it collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children either.

Links that leave the app

The About screen offers to open this privacy policy, the app's Google Play listing, and your device's share sheet. Each of those opens another app — your browser, the Play Store, or whatever you pick to share with — and what happens there is governed by that app's own privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
